For EveryBody
For children:
Yoga instruction introduces children to tools they can employ when they are feeling tired, stressed, anxious or angry.
Yoga teaches kids that they have the power to calm their minds and to focus on becoming proficient at something new.
Yoga practice can support students in a standards-based learning environment, where they are expected to set goals and be responsible for their own learning.
Integrating yoga instruction within the school day and providing opportunities for practice
makes yoga relevant for both students and teachers.
